We decided to go with you guys for a number of reasons, but mainly because after meeting Justine and Sandy, Sara really felt they 'got' us and would be great to work with, we liked the indoor/outdoor options for the ceremony, and we really felt that the hireage costs were value for money. We had so many comments from our guests about it being one of the best "spreads" they had ever had at a wedding. We also really appreciated the fact that Horst and the team were so obliging, and indeed enthusiatic about us supplying our own seafood - which not only really helped with the 'wow' factor, especially the crayfish tower (!), but also helped us keep costs in check. Horst is the master of food presentation! Service 10 - definitely!! From whoa to go the service was amazing. Sandy was absolutely brilliant and was always very quick to respond to Sara's numerous queries during the lead up. On the day the Petite Fleur team were wonderful, your presence was subtle and friendly, we in the bridal party weren't at all aware of them. Thanks so much! In particular the indoor/outdoor options for the ceremony, and the bar area, which was great for those that wanted to carry on conversations once the band started up. The venue, tables, crockery etc and service you guys provide both on the day and during the lead up is definitely value for money, and we would have been happy to pay a bit more knowing what we know now about how the whole team operates. All our feedback from our guests was really positive. As mentioned above, in particular heaps of them thought the food and presentation was amazing. Generally you guys got top marks from our guests - thanks so much! We were thrilled with the day and so happy that we chose Petite Fleur as our venue. We can't thank you enough!

From the moment we met Justine, we knew Petite Fleur was the only place and having dined there from time to time, it seemed an obvious choice. We can only rate our choice as 10+ all round. Friends commented on the excellent staff who attended on the tables so professionally. It was certainly 10 out of 10 for value - Horst's food was quite delicious. Our Vegan friends pronounced it the best food they've ever been served. Feedback from our guests - unending praise all round - they're still talking about it! We could not improve on this superb evening We particularly liked the way in which guests were welcomed at the entrance with drinks.

We have lots of positive feedback about how great the presentation of food was (both canapes and buffet) and how amazing it tasted. We also had numerous guests comment on how accommodating you were to my own food allergies and that of others. The main comment about our wedding has been about the food - well done!
We had a great experience with Petite Fleur and we walked away happy with the service, the food and the bill! We honestly had so many comments from our guests about how amazing the food was - so job well done!

We chose you guys as the superior option - very attentive to our requests - quick to answer emails - wonderful menu selection. We went with you because we wanted the very best option and were less concerned with price as we were with the end result. That having been said, I feel like the amount of money we spent with you wasn't excessively expensive or cheap. There's nothing I would change. I want you guys to truly understand how wonderful our entire experience was with you all - and that we loved it so much we truly want to help you all succeed (not that you need our help to do that!!!) but you guys did a wonderful job. smashed it out of the park, truly.

"We chose you most importantly because of the following..... You have a good reputation around town for having excellent food and service. The location of Petite Fleur is stunning. It is a well established restaurant/winery and we will be able to go there to celebrate wedding anniversaries in the future etc. J The wine is excellent. The list could go on! I would also like to point out here that it was both Niklas’ and my opinion that Justine and Horst make an incredible team. What we appreciated was that neither of them just stick to their ‘part’ i.e. Horst only concerned with the food and Justine only concerned with Front of House. Instead, we felt like they both have extensive experience in ALL aspects of the function and their knowledge blends together to ensure that an amazing evening results for all guests. We had our wedding at Petite Fleur and really enjoyed dealing with the absolutely fabulous team there. Justine and Sandy and their team run an amazing events planning service and Horst and his team in the kitchen provided the best wedding food many of our guests had sampled. Lovely people, lovely place - meant our day couldn't have been better!

It is now just over a year since our wonderful wedding, and this letter of commendation is well overdue! Maybe the highest compliment comes from our friend in Auckland (used to dining in expansive places!), he repeatedly raves about what a superb reception it was and to quote " you would be hard pressed to better that - even in Auckland!" We loved the ambience of the restaurant as soon as we walked in. Throughout the planning stages you were both so willing to engage in further discussions as we refined our ideas and heard your suggestions, and it made us feel so comfortable.
The reception itself was wonderful. The food was everything we hoped for and more. Staff were so attentive to all the guests and I remember noticing your patience as the speeches lingered much longer than expected! So even now, a year later, we have nothing but praise to heap on you both and your staff for creating such a marvellous occasion. Neither of us can think of anything we would have chaned. The value for money was outstanding. Well done and thank you so much again.

Visited with a party of 12. Booked a table which was ready for us. Very attentive wait staff who made us most welcome. Extensive menu with local produce. All meals served in 30 minutes even though most were different. A well organised kitchen. This is associated with wine tasting as it is at a vineyard so local wines available as were local beers. A german theme to the food so plenty of it.

"..We chose Petite Fleur for our Wedding over 5 other venues in Nelson. The size of the venue suited us along with the indoor/outdoor flow of the room. The major selling points for us was the AMAZING menu and the fantastic staff/owners who went out of their way to cater to exactly what we wanted. Nothing was a problem and they seemed as excited as we were about the day. The Service and Food were both EXCELLENT and Exceeded our expectations, Horst is an absolute masterchef! "..Petite Fleur at Seifried Estate catering was hired for catering to a TVC crew of 40. The brief was to supply a service for the Japanese, Australian and New Zealand crews, breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon tea for two days on two different film locations. Horst went the extra mile developing a menu for TVC Producer Miki Komatsu which satisfied Miki's TVC budget and that of the crew. Horst and his staff presented a great service which was of top level, the quality of the food was memorable by the entire crew and it fell within budget with no extra cost at the end of production. The second location was in a remote farm shed and Horst adapted without any concern, he got on with what he does best and supplied a great hot meal . Horst understood the hours of working on a film set, weekends included plus the pre-production phase liaising with the production team. Horst communicated with Miki (Producer) and Annette (Production Manager) perfectly. I would recommend Horst and his staff to cater for any Film & TV crew in the Nelson/Tasman region, he understands how the industry works and can produce a quality service within budget and supply food for a hungry crew."
